PHOTO and FLORAL FUN at Tulips at Twilight Topeka
Join Olympus and Wolfe’s Camera for a most colorful photo outing during Tulips at Twilight.
Olympus is bringing a large selection of OM-D Mirrorless cameras and lenses to Topeka’s Ward-Meade Botanical Garden for one day only Thursday April 25.
This is a perfect opportunity to test the advantages of the new Mirrorless design cameras. Wolfe’s and Olympus experts on hand to assist you. Bring your old camera as well. It will be fun to shoot and compare both. Don’t miss opportunity to try the newest camera technology while making pictures in a very photogenic setting.
Two Sessions available
Afternoon Photo Shoot
Olympus Gear loan time: 1:30– 4 pm (garden open for viewing till 5 pm) April 25
Make photos in Old Prairie Town. Historic buildings and artifacts for great picture making. Don’t miss the fountains and botanical garden highlighted by thousands of multihued tulips. Afternoon light will present a whole different photo adventure compared to the evening session.
You may begin checking out gear at 1:30 at the Potwin Drug Store (located in Old Prairie Town – Just a short walk as you enter from the parking lot on Clay Street).
Park will close between sessions to allow time to illuminate the evening event.
Tulips at Twilight
Olympus Gear loan time: 7 – 9 pm (garden open for viewing 7 till 10 pm) April 25
The event features more than 35 lighted displays including larger-than-life illuminated flowers and more than 40,000 multi-colored tulips. Stroll along lighted pathways and make amazing photos with Olympus gear. (Plan on donating $5 or more to Shawnee County Parks and Recreation for evening event)

Event Location: Ward Meade Gardens and Old Prairie Town Just north of West First Street between Fillmore and Clay. Parking lot on Clay Street. Enter off Clay street. This provides easy access to Potwin Drug Store where you pick up loaner camera gear. (Google Maps makes it easy to find – but parking and entrance is one block west on Clay street).
